Bart, nice to meet you.

I consider myself a jack of many trades, driven by a child-like curiosity and an unwavering passion for adventure and mischief.

First and foremost I’m a father of two wonderful children and a husband to a beautiful wife. But I’m also an HR professional, Industrial and Organizational Psychologist, an unofficial ambassador for lifelong learning, and a passionate advocate for organizational authenticity.

But there’s more. I’m a wannabe guitarist, I know my way around powertools and I love nature and sports. I often combine the two, for example through bushcraft and running. And with a marathon PR of 03:43:14 not too shabby, if I do say so myself.

Photography

In addition to all this, I consider myself an amateur photographer. I fell in love with photography somewhere around 2016. Since then I’ve had years when I’d photograph very intensely, completely obsessed with the craft, but also times when I didn’t pick up my camera for months on end. 

Still, I was looking for a place to showcase my photos, and that, my dear reader, is what you’ve stumbled upon. This website, a remnant from my time as a self-employed entrepreneur, has become my little corner of the internet.

I draw my inspiration from authenticity. So it’s no surprise that I have a soft spot for black-and-white photography.
